14.5m people in the UK are locked in poverty, struggling to afford food, clothing and shelter. Right now 3 in every 10 children are living in poverty. Children all around us are going to school hungry, being bullied for wearing old uniforms, or living in unsuitable housing. Action can be taken, however. Over £2bn surplus products are generated in the UK every year, including essential items like nappies, bedding and warm clothing. We receive donated surplus like this and give it to those who need it to survive.
“Shower gel helps me stay clean as we have no soap at home.”
“We are delighted to support Giving World in such a meaningful cause, and we will gladly continue donating unwanted stock. Your efforts truly make a difference, and we’re proud to contribute to helping so many vulnerable people across the UK.”
“Getting out of an abusive relationship has been a very lonely journey. It’s good to know some people do care about others. These donations help to reduce my stress.”
Act now to prevent
extreme povertyWe protect people from poverty by receiving surplus products from businesses and redistributing them to those who need them most.
