Small Charity Week: Double the Difference for Giving World
As Leicester based charity Giving World celebrates 25 years of transforming lives, we're inviting East Midlands businesses to help make an even bigger difference.
From 22–29 June, Giving World is taking part in the Big Give’s Small Charity Week—and every donation made will be DOUBLED thanks to match funding.
Since 2001 Giving World has been helping vulnerable children and families by redistributing surplus goods from businesses like clothing, toiletries, household goods and other essentials, preventing waste, restoring dignity and stretching incomes.
Today, heartbreakingly, one in three children lives below the poverty line. That’s 10 children in every classroom.
Please stand with us to help vulnerable communities by donating for one week only.
Your donation will be DOUBLED thanks to match funding through Big Give. That means your support goes twice as far: £10 becomes £20, £25 becomes £50, £100 becomes £200.
Twice as many warm clothes for children this coming winter, and twice as much dignity in their communities.
Seven-year-old Chloe told us: "Shower gel helps me stay clean – we don't have any soap at home."
Eight-year-old Callum treasures the books he receives: "They make me happy. I am learning new words."
And after receiving a new school uniform, Joe simply said: "Now I can be like everyone else."
Join us in celebrating 25 years of impact—and doubling the difference for families who need it most.
But we only have 7 days to make the most of this opportunity. Match funds are limited — once they’re gone, they’re gone.*
